Massachusetts General Hospital's Livesaving Kit Stops Postpartum Bleeding

Eight years ago, Dr. Thomas Burke, a physician from Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Harvard Medical School, was approached by the leaders of a multi-donor trust fund in South Sudan. He was tasked to come up with an innovative way to address emergency health conditions at the community level.
